I've often wondered where the term "make Love" came from. People, especially women, always want someone to "make Love" to them. This thought just popped in my head the other day: THE ONLY WAY TO "MAKE LOVE" IS TO MAKE A BABY. Maybe the root desire for men and women to want to "make Love" is because instinctively they are ready to procreate. It's an animalistic desire we're all born with; the need to leave a legacy.
Follow me for a second. I believe God is Love and Love is God and as a child of Love and God, I am incarnated and created in the likeness of Love and God. So the only way for me to "make Love" is for the semen of a man to fertilize one of my eggs. The initial contact of the two is a cosmic divine creation and the only way the two of us can"make Love".
Now love can be shared and I would never deny that. Depending on the energy between the two people, I believe a man and woman can have sex and can actually EXPRESS and EXTEND Love but Love was made the day you were born. People need to know that sex and making Love are not one and the same; you can have meaningless sex, sex with extensions of Love, or sex that leads you to make Love by way of producing a child.
There are a lot of people making babies but not realizing they are "making Love" ordained by the most high. All human being on this Earth are perfect and in the likeness of God and Love. We are born with the ability to create an abundance of any and everything we could ever dream of because we ARE Love...we are God.

I disagree. This basically says that people that don't want kids, but are in relationships...can't "make love".
So if you old as shit and get married again at 55...women..after menopause..you're shit out of luck. I disagree
I have heard that people believe that if you get married..you are required by God to procreate and that is a meaning of marriage and unity.
I just believe that people can have a specific union, love each other, share intimaticy and unique feelings for each other and "make love" without having kids.
I'm for the Old Folks and people that can't have children. What if you adopt??
You can lovingly adopt a child. Just because you didn't "make love" and bring that child into the world doesn't mean they aren't beings of Love. Love just is. We can ALL share love, but only a few of us will "make love"...together. My point is simply this: Love is made at birth, everything we do after that is an extension and expression of that love.
I follow thee Shelli!! Remembering our Divine origin is part of our journey on earth. "Making Love" as you describe it, is a gateway to experience Love in its Purest form.
Can you clarify if you mean that Love is experienceD only at birth? or can it also be experienced during intercourse if the man and woman have the right intention of creating?

I am saying that Love is innate and part of our energetic makeup. So you live it because you are it. So the second a baby is created, is the second Love is created. Love will grow throughout your life as you become closer to God and you will begin to see Love in all things on this Earth. I believe sex is just one way of extending and expressing Love with someone - but it is not the reason you will be IN Love with that person. So the focus should not be "making Love" and bringing life into this world, but rather it should be about finding the one you have an undeniable chemistry with, causing Love to grow. Then making love (a baby) will come if it is to be done.
